ABOUT ME

Myriam Lazorko

About fifteen years ago, a friend introduced me to yoga and opened my mind on life and the search for our inner self.

A period of prosperity that triggers a profound need to adopt a serene philosophy of life on a daily basis. With the intention of sharing its happiness and depth.

There’s no coincidence in choosing massage, it’s just something that came naturally at a certain point…

With the practice of massage undertaken as an art, that of the sense of touch.

Massage awakens the mind/body connection. It is a gentle, natural alternative for re-boosting energy.

After an enormous amount of research into everything to do with this vast subject, I began my journey with a training in foot reflexology (Essentiel massage Paris), quickly followed by another one about Indian head massage, Shirotchampi (Institut Pieds et mains Paris). These were as many human encounters as techniques that enabled me to go further and grow.

It was then that I became particularly interested in India and Ayurveda. Self-taught, I study many books on the subject.
It’s fascinating!

And, naturally, after starting with feets and heads, I trained in full-body massage; Abhyanga, the traditional Indian massage considered sacred.

Giving a massage cannot be improvised. There are fundamental principles to know in Ayurveda. So it was through a training course called “yoga bhyas” that I met Rajeev (Centre Yogsansara Paris), a wonderful person who teaches Ayurveda with all the respect and wisdom he shares.

This is a physical and energetic preparation for the practitioner.
It is based on a methodology that says that by taking care of ourselves, we can take care of others.

The practitioner must know how to create its own energy in such a way as to be able to give energy without lacking it. To achieve this, essential practices are carried out on a daily basis: yoga, pranayama, cleansing, meditation, diet, mantras, etc.

I continue to nourish myself with this marvellous wisdom that is Ayurveda, whether through regular training, meditation, yoga… and also by reading many books by authors committed to the path of Ayurveda, on which I base these few pages…

It’s an absolute necessity if you want to keep going and stay on track by staying in touch with the source of your know-how and expertise.

This Wisdom carries me through every day, and my greatest wish is to communicate this way of well-being.
