MADHYAMIKA massage
Madhyamika's description
Madhyamika is the extension of Abhyanga, its evolution.
Based on the deepening of the three constitutions (Doshas), the technique becomes more complicated with the use of the forearms, wrists, elbows etc….
It is more energetic and deeper.
Madhyamika is the most direct way to harmonise, revitalise and diffuse energy, Prana, throughout the body and rebalance the energy centres. It combines the benefits of massage techniques with the properties of oils to improve and fluidify circulation and quickly release nervous tension.
Regular practice helps to maintain health and well-being on a daily basis.
Benefits of Madhyamika
As the sessions progress, concentration improves, as does the management of stress and emotions. Cell regeneration is encouraged, resulting in multiple benefits (digestion, pain, memory, tiredness, skin….) Acting on the nervous system, it improves the quality and depth of sleep.
It balances all the doshas, particularly harmonising Vata.
It softens and nourishes the skin and muscles, calms the nervous system, provides deep relaxation and soothes physical pain. Thanks to its large and encompassing movements, it facilitates the body’s circulatory systems (blood, energy, lymphatic).
The relaxation is effective, resulting in better digestion and elimination.
Ayurvedic Madhyamika massage increases Prana, strength, flexibility and physical resistance, as well as concentration and self-confidence.
