Perfect Health
the Vedic rhythmAyurveda states that perfect health implies that :
- The physical body is in balance (circulation, elimination, etc. are all working well)
- The emotional state is happy
- The mind is calm and serene
- The soul is in a state of bliss
- The human being is made up of the same elements and forces as the Universe
- That everything is energy.
So, naturally, which means in harmony with nature, human beings should live in good health!
Learning from nature
To understand how nature works, all you have to do is observe and experience it. There is a fundamental law of nature based on the principle of least effort. No resistance, just being.
Nature’s intelligence has worked in this way since the dawn of time.
We have monumental energy at our disposal.
Many of us adopt behaviours that are contrary to nature, so our organism is in resistance mode! And what is ‘unnatural’ ends up limiting an organism’s ability to function properly.
In other words, it’s the circulation of energy (the vital breath) that’s ‘harmed’…
Being in harmony with nature means simply BEING, naturally.
For Ayurveda, which sees man as an extension of nature, the ecological environment is of paramount importance, and we owe it to ourselves to respect it.
The elements of Earth, Water, Air and Ether are the link between our surroundings and our own inner ecology.
From earth pollution to mental pollution
Chemical products damage the Earth, causing imbalances in the ecosystem that affect trees, insects, mammals and humans…
Bad thoughts, a damaged mind, negative emotions… lead us to a state of malaise and gradually destroy our health, our internal ecology.
Ayurveda teaches us that these two ecologies influence each other. And it places an unconditional emphasis on balance in everything.
Improving our inner ecology, purifying ourselves, means offering ourselves a better life.
Ayurveda encourages us to behave in a dignified way, through knowledge, respect, peace and love, not as a religion or dogma, but with knowledge of the facts, towards ourselves, others, nature, the Earth and the Universe.
